Mesothelioma & Asbestos Exposure

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer caused in most cases by exposure to asbestos, a naturally occurring set of mineral fibers which can become lodged in the lining of the lungs (pleural mesothelioma), abdomen (peritoneal mesothelioma), or other organs, and cause inflammation that may result in tumors.
