Shaheen & Gordon has assembled a dedicated team of attorneys, staff, and retained experts to leverage our resources as one of the largest firms in New Hampshire and help secure justice and compensation for victims of YDC abuse. We’ve chosen to take on a limited number of clients so that we can give them the individualized attention they need.
We have a proven track record of obtaining recoveries against state and local governments in instances of abuse and corruption, including cases against local school districts, police departments, and even the Valley Street Jail. In 2018, our firm secured a $2 million settlement in a wrongful death suit against the city of Nashua. When state and local governments abuse their power, we hold them accountable.
Our YDC Team, At Your Service
Attorney Anthony Carr, Co-Chair
Anthony has been advocating for YDC victims since the story first broke in 2018. He has been directly working with the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office and other advocacy organizations to see that the state’s proposed settlement fund was fair and respectful of the trauma these victims have faced. He secured the first settlement through the fund. Anthony is always available to his YDC clients to make sure they feel comfortable and confident with where they are in the settlement process.
Attorney Michael Noonan, Managing Partner & Co-Chair
Michael has been representing injury victims for more than 30 years. His vast experience makes him an invaluable resource for our YDC clients, serving as a close counsel on their cases. Michael has secured some of the most significant victories for injured parties in New Hampshire, including multiple $5+ million settlements.
