New Hampshire Paraquat Mass Tort Lawyers
Representing Injured Clients Against Paraquat Manufacturers
Banned in dozens of countries due to its toxicity, paraquat dichloride remains one of the most common pesticides in the United States. Just a single sip of paraquat has proved fatal time and time again; several studies have linked exposure to the herbicide to the development of Parkinson’s disease later in life.
As such, numerous lawsuits have been filed in courts from coast to coast against paraquat manufacturers. These suits have now been consolidated into a mass tort case, which simply means that a group of plaintiffs (injured parties) will make their case against a few defendants (in this case, paraquat manufacturers). If you or a loved one has developed Parkinson’s due to paraquat exposure, you may qualify to join the mass tort case and seek compensation for the damages you have suffered.

Paraquat and Parkinson’s Disease
The link between paraquat exposure and Parkinson’s is supported by a host of scientific evidence published in peer-reviewed journals, from Environmental Health Perspectives to the American Journal of Epidemiology to JAMA Neurology to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) and more. Even the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognized this link in a 2016 regulatory filing, although it recently reapproved paraquat for use in the U.S. Unfortunately, this means that paraquat will continue to put gardeners, groundskeepers, farmers, and other agricultural workers—as well as those who live near areas where paraquat is sprayed—in harm’s way.
Common Paraquat Products
The most common paraquat product is Syngenta’s Gramoxone® SL 2.0. However, it is an active ingredient in several different fast-acting weed killers, including but not at all limited to:
- Gramoxone® SL, SL 3.0, and Inteon®
- Cyclone® SL 2.0 and Star
- Purgatory™ 3 SL
- Parazone® 3SL
- Tigris™ Paraquat 3SL
- Para-Shot 3.0
- Willowood
- Devour™
- Firestorm®
Most paraquat lawsuits have been filed against Syngenta and Chevron, as they are behind the most popular paraquat weed killers out on the market. However, you may file a claim against whichever manufacturer injured you.
