New Hampshire DMV Hearing Lawyer

Have you been arrested for a DWI in New Hampshire? Typically this means that you have either refused to submit to requested blood testing or you have done so, resulting in a breath or blood result exceeding the per se limit of 0.08 for drivers over the age of 21 and 0.02 for drivers under the age of 21. This triggers New Hampshire’s administrative license suspension process where you are given a temporary privilege to drive beginning from the time that you were served with the administrative license suspension form. This temporary privilege to drive lasts only 30 days.
After 30 days, an administrative license suspension of 180 days applies in the case of a first offense and 2 years in the case of a second offense. In order to fight this automatic suspension of drivers’ license, you must request a hearing from the Department of Safety within 30 days.
