Shaheen & Gordon, P.A. is proud to announce the addition of Attorney Samantha J. Heuring to its Personal Injury Practice Group. Samantha also joins the firm’s YDC Victim Compensation Group and will be based out of the firm’s Dover office.
Prior to joining Shaheen & Gordon, Samantha worked with more than a dozen victims of physical and sexual assault at the Youth Development Center to get the justice they deserve through the state’s YDC Settlement Fund. Her work was crucial in attaining the first maximum settlement of $1.5 million through the fund. She subsequently obtained a $1.48 million settlement and a second $1.5 million settlement through the fund. In joining Shaheen & Gordon’s YDC Victim Compensation Group, Heuring remains committed to helping victims of YDC abuse obtain the justice and compensation they deserve.
Samantha is a passionate advocate for all types of injury victims. In addition to general personal injury, she also focuses her practice on employment law and civil rights matters. She believes that her role as an attorney is to help obtain “liberty and justice for all,” one client at a time. She is committed to getting the results that her clients need through the delivery of customized, client-focused representation.
“Samantha cares about doing her best work to help people,” says Michael Noonan, Managing Partner and Chair of the firm’s personal injury practice group. “That’s the most important quality for a lawyer, and we are thrilled to welcome her to our team.”
In her passion for fighting for people’s rights, Samantha serves on a board of the New Hampshire Association for Justice and regularly appears before the legislature to address ongoing issues and bills relevant to New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights.
