Shaheen & Gordon, P.A. is pleased to announce new members of the firm: Timothy C. Ayer, Anthony M. Carr, John Goodlander, and Daniel T. Rush.
Timothy Ayer is a member of the firm’s litigation team. Over the course of his career, Tim has seen first-hand how a legal case can affect someone's life and works to ensure that he explores every issue available to a client to bring the case to a good conclusion.
Prior to joining Shaheen and Gordon, Tim worked in Juneau, Alaska, where he worked as a trial attorney with the Alaska Public Defender Agency for six years. During that time, Tim represented clients at the trial, post-trial, and appellate level in a wide-range of cases from possession of alcohol to homicide, and he has extensive trial experience. He is based in our Dover office.
Anthony Carr, a New Hampshire native, is a member of our personal injury team with a focus on cases involving nursing home/elder abuse, asbestos/mesothelioma and other toxic torts, traumatic brain injury, products liability, and other catastrophic injuries.
Prior to joining Shaheen & Gordon, he spent four years practicing as a litigation associate for a nationally recognized trial firm in Honolulu, Hawaii. Anthony is based in our Manchester office.
John Goodlander is a corporate attorney whose practice encompasses a broad range of transactional, securities, real estate, tax and general corporate matters. He has experience counseling businesses in connection with business formation and entity selection, mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt offerings, and real estate acquisition and lease transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, John was an associate in the mergers and acquisitions department at an international law firm based in New York City and the corporate department of a law firm in Manchester. He is based in our Dover office.
In other expansion news, the Law Office of Daniel T. Rush is now part of Shaheen & Gordon.
Daniel T. Rush has had operated a successful practice in Kennebunk for the past 30 years, and has been practicing law in Maine since 1978.
As a sole practitioner, his focus has been on residential and commercial real estate purchases sales, and financing; purchases and sales of businesses; corporate and limited liability company formation; as well as estate planning, wills and probate.
Dan will continue his focus on real estate and business issues in Kennebunk while being able to offer the Shaheen & Gordon’s full range of legal services and regional resources.
