Peter W. Schroeter has been inducted as a charter member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals’ Maine Chapter, an honor given to the state’s leading practitioners for Excellence in the field of Dispute Resolution.
Schroeter, who is chair of the firm’s Mediation and Arbitration, was one of just eight attorneys in the state who were inducted into the National Academy. The National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN) is a respected organization comprised of mediators and arbitrators who have distinguished themselves in the field of civil and commercial conflict resolution. The invitation-only association carefully vets attorneys based upon selective criteria to ensure only the top 5-10% of practitioners in each state is selected.
Schroeter has over 30 years’ experience as a trial lawyer and mediator in all types of civil litigation disputes. He has successfully mediated more than 1,000 cases involving business, employment, construction, personal injury, insurance, real estate, probate, family, and elder law. He is currently the President of the Maine Association of Mediators.
