We are pleased to announce and welcome the newest member of our team, Attorney Kara J. Dowal. She brings nearly a decade of experience to the firm and is skilled in various areas of law. Currently, Attorney Dowal focuses the majority of her practice handling cases in the areas of health care and corporate business law.
Before joining our team of New Hampshire lawyers at Shaheen & Gordon, P.A., Attorney Dowal practiced at another Manchester-based firm where she handled a large range of cases within the field of corporate law. During this time, she dealt with entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, negotiation of complex contracts, general corporate governance, and security offerings.
Additionally, Attorney Dowal has an ample amount of experience within the area of health care law. During her time with her former firm, she worked alongside many health care providers, regarding corporate contracting, employment, institutional licensure, professional licensure, and transition matters. Over the years, she has provided legal support for physicians and physician groups to address legal requirements and practical realities that many providers face.
From 2014 to 2015, Attorney Dowal worked as an Adjunct Professor at the
University of New Hampshire School of Law where she taught Mergers and
Acquisitions.
