On Sunday December 14, the New Hampshire Democratic Party elected our firm's own Bill Shaheen to serve as the party's National Committeeman. In addition to his successful legal career, Bill, who is married to New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen, has campaigned for Jimmy Carter and served as state campaign co-chairman for Hillary Clinton in 2008.
Bill is as passionate about New Hampshire politics as he is about securing the best results possible for Shaheen & Gordon, P.A. clients. Calling New Hampshire the only place left where a man with an idea can make a difference, Bill said: “We are probably the last great hope where money cannot buy an election.”
In addition to electing Bill Shaheen as National Committeeman, New Hampshire democrats also used Sunday's annual meeting to present Shaheen & Gordon's Bill Christie with its Granite State Justice Award. The award was given in appreciation of Bill's work on behalf of the party and voting rights.
