Elana Baron serves Of Counsel to Shaheen & Gordon.
Elana has developed substantial experience in the areas of Real Estate, Civil and probate Litigation, Adult Guardianships, Estate Planning, Trusts, Elder Law, Collections/Foreclosures, and Corporate Law. She handles all her cases personally from inception through to resolution. All of her real estate sales and purchases are handled without contracting out any portion of the transaction, including the full title examination. Elana is fluent in both English and French and has clients from both sides of the USA/Canada border. She has appeared before the Supreme Court of the State of Vermont and State of New Hampshire, Vermont Superior Courts; both civil and probate divisions, United States Federal District Court, District of Vermont, New Hampshire Superior Courts; both civil and probate divisions and the United States Federal District Court, District of New Hampshire.
Elana has earned the professional certification of Certified Estate Planner (CEP®), enabling her to bring every client a custom-tailored estate plan that is designed to preserve, protect, and pass on that individual’s estate as they so desire. This gives each client the peace of mind that comes from knowing their estate will be managed during their lifetime as they have directed, even should they become incapacitated.
Elana was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. She and her family now live in southwestern New Hampshire. When not relaxing at home with her husband and English Mastiff named Odin, Elana volunteers with local animal care organizations and the Keene YMCA.
