Brittani Pelissier is a dedicated and compassionate advocate representing clients in workers’ compensation and family law matters. She assists injured workers through all phases of the claims process, including administrative hearings, settlement negotiations, and appeals. Her family law practice includes divorce, parenting and custody disputes, post-divorce modifications, domestic violence protective orders, and co-parenting challenges.
In every matter, Brittani strives to approach her work with empathy and mindfulness, using trauma-informed and equitable practices to help clients navigate emotionally challenging circumstances. She works collaboratively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, guardians ad litem, mediators, and the courts to resolve complex and sensitive disputes.
Brittani is also a member of Shaheen & Gordon’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, contributing to firm-wide efforts that foster a more inclusive workplace and promote DEI values throughout New Hampshire communities.
She is actively involved in the legal community, serving as Editor-in-Chief of the New Hampshire Association for Justice (NHAJ) Publication, a Board Member on the NHAJ Board of Governors (Hillsborough South), and Clerk for the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Family Law Section. She is also a member of the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.
Brittani was selected by her peers for inclusion in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® for her work in Family Law—a distinction that recognizes early-career attorneys for outstanding professional excellence.
Originally from Wisconsin, Brittani began her legal career in the Midwest before relocating to New Hampshire. Before joining Shaheen & Gordon, she worked as a summer associate at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, focusing on litigation and employment law, and as a legal clerk for Molson Coors, where she supported regulatory compliance initiatives. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Marquette University Law School, where she served as Comment Editor for the Marquette Law Review. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Outside of her legal practice, Brittani enjoys golfing, cooking, reading, watching true crime documentaries, and working on puzzles and strategy games. As a Wisconsin transplant, she remains a loyal Badgers and Packers fan.
