Personal Injury
Shaheen & Gordon ... because the best legal minds belong in your corner.
The attorneys and staff in the Personal Injury and Car and Auto Accident law group at Shaheen & Gordon have experience and expertise in all aspects of Personal Injury and Car and Auto Accident representation in the New England courts of New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts, along with national and international litigation.
Shaheen & Gordon's Personal Injury and Car and Auto Accident practice encompasses a wide range of legal areas, including automobile and motorcycle accidents, trucking accidents, workers' compensation claims, slip and falls, wrongful death, medical malpractice, Social Security Disability, injuries from faulty drugs, medical devices and other faulty products, and dog bites…..to name just a few.
Our Personal Injury attorneys have handled the most complicated and serious of injury cases (including paralysis and severe head injuries and death cases ) to less serious injuries such as neck and back strains…..and no matter the severity of your injury, our attorneys bring the same experienced team approach, intensity, work ethic, skill and determination to every case they handle.
While it is impossible to wave a magic wand and make your injuries disappear, our justice system has evolved to provide potential monetary compensation when you are injured as a result of somebody else's fault or if you are injured on the job. Such compensation usually includes reimbursing you for medical bills incurred as well as future medical costs, loss of earnings and earning capacity, pain and suffering (both physical and emotional), permanent impairment, loss of enjoyment of life and the like. Therefore any money you may be entitled to will depend on the extent and seriousness of your injuries.
OUR PERSONAL INJURY LITIGATION GROUP
In our Personal Injury practice, we have a dedicated and highly skilled group of attorneys, paralegals and legal secretaries with extensive experience in this area of law. This group of individuals forms a formidable team in prosecuting your case.
If you have been injured or in an accident, contact Attorney Mike Noonan, Attorney Bill Shaheen or Attorney Christine Craig about your matter. We will be glad to discuss the matter with you and answer any questions you might have. The initial consultation is free, whether we take your case or not; after that, our fees are contingent upon our recovering money for you on your case.
HELPFUL TIPS IF YOU ARE IN AN ACCIDENT
1. At Work: Tell your supervisor immediately - don't wait, no matter how minor you think your injury is. Fill out a First Report of Injury which should be available right there at work, get the names and phone numbers of all persons who witnessed the injury. Remember, if you get hurt at work, nobody needs to be at fault in order to get Workers' Compensation. Simply stated, you only need to show that you hurt yourself while working.
2. In a Car: If you are severely hurt in a car accident, wait for help to arrive. Make sure the police are contacted. Get the name, address, license and insurance information from the other party. Get names and phone numbers of any witnesses if possible. Contact your insurance carrier as soon as possible.
3. At a Retail Store: Inform the store manager or other store employee immediately. If you need assistance for your injuries, make sure the store contacts an ambulance for you. Get the names and addresses of any potential witnesses who saw the accident.
