Biography
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College in 2000, Garth earned his Juris Doctor and Masters in Intellectual Property Law degrees from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center) in 2004.
He was reelected in November 2011 to his second term on the City of Manchester, New Hampshire’s Board of Mayor & Alderman, representing Ward Six. He chairs the city’s Energy Committee and serves on the Committees on Finance, Accounts and Bills on Second Reading. Garth also served as President of the N.H. Young Democrats from 2008 to 2010, is State Co-Chair of Building America’s Future Educational Fund-New Hampshire and is an Elected Delegate for New Hampshire’s First Congressional District to the 2012 Democratic National Convention.
Garth has worked as an attorney for law firms in Concord, Nashua and Portsmouth, N.H. In May of 2011 Garth started his own practice, Corriveau Law Offices, P.L.L.C. and in June of that year he joined Shaheen & Gordon as Of Counsel in our Manchester office. Garth concentrates his practice mainly on bankruptcy, intellectual property registration & licensing, and commercial contracts, governance, litigation and real estate.
